Happy hump day, all you hookers and hooker wannabes. It's half way through the week and it's our official meeting day so I thought it would be a good to to share some info and everyone excited to crochet tonight!
This post is more for the wannabes, for everyone who has been thinking they would like to crochet but just don't know how to get started. This site has a great tutorial of all kinds of crochet stitches starting with the basics!

I got started in a similar fashion by picking up a basic crochet book and practicing some basic stitches until I felt comfortable jumping into a pattern. I still reference that book from time to time when I forget a stitch.
I LOVE this book...I will be attempting to crochet some new patterns. Let's hope I can understand it.
